Terms and Conditions - The Builder Challenge
By purchasing or participating in The Builder Challenge, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Program Overview
The purchaser and participant ("Participant") is enrolling in The Builder Challenge with Angie McPherson Photography, Inc. ("Company").
The Builder Challenge is a two-week guided online experience designed to help entrepreneurs take one useful business idea, shape it into a clear Build Plan, and build a working first version of it using AI and supported building tools.
Program Includes
-
Three live online sessions with Angie McPherson
-
Guidance for choosing and scoping one focused idea
-
A process for creating a Build Plan
-
Independent building time between the live sessions
-
Feedback and guidance while Participants build, test, and refine
-
Access to the private Challenge community for the duration of the Challenge
-
Lifetime access to the recordings of the live sessions
-
Challenge materials and digital resources provided by the Company
Session times, access instructions, and participation details are provided by email after enrollment.
Program Term
The Builder Challenge runs from September 21 through October 2, 2026.
Community access, materials, and support are provided for the duration of the Challenge unless the Company states otherwise in writing.
Recordings of the live sessions are different. Enrolled Participants receive lifetime access to them, meaning access is not limited to the two weeks of the Challenge and is not tied to an expiration date.
If the Company stops hosting the recordings for any reason, including a change of platform or the discontinuation of the Challenge, the Company will give enrolled Participants a download link or another reasonable means of obtaining their own copy before hosted access ends.
Lifetime access is personal to the Participant and remains subject to the Intellectual Property section below.
Payment Terms
Enrollment requires a one-time payment of $147. The Participant is responsible for any applicable taxes.
No Refund Policy
Because the Challenge includes limited capacity and reserved access to live sessions, community support, and feedback, all sales are final.
No refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued for missed sessions, scheduling conflicts, lack of participation, or an incomplete project. Please review the dates and the participation expectations before enrolling.
If the Company cancels the entire Challenge and does not provide a comparable replacement experience, the Participant will receive a refund of the amount paid. This does not apply to an individual rescheduled session, a temporary technical interruption, or a reasonable change in how the experience is delivered.
Program Access and Delivery
All sessions, materials, and community support are hosted online. Access details are provided through the email address used at enrollment.
Technical issues or circumstances outside the Company's control may cause temporary delays. The Company may make reasonable changes to session timing, format, supporting resources, or delivery when necessary, and will notify Participants of material changes by email.
Enrollment is for one Participant. Access, recordings, community membership, and materials may not be shared with another person or business without written permission from the Company.
Participant Responsibility
The Builder Challenge is an active building experience. It is not a passive course and it is not a done-for-you service.
Participants are responsible for:
-
Attending or reviewing the live sessions
-
Making time to build between sessions
-
Choosing a project that can reasonably be scoped for a two-week experience
-
Following the scope and implementation guidance provided
-
Testing and reviewing anything they create before using or sharing it
-
Maintaining reliable internet access and compatible devices
-
Creating and maintaining any required third-party accounts and keeping their login information secure
-
Making their own legal, financial, privacy, security, and business decisions about anything they build
No coding experience is required to enroll. "No coding necessary" means the Challenge is built for nontechnical Participants and does not require prior programming knowledge. It does not mean the experience requires no learning, decision-making, testing, or independent work.
The Company does not maintain, host, operate, secure, or support a Participant's project after the Challenge ends.
What a Working First Version Means
The Challenge is designed to help each Participant create a clear Build Plan and a working first version of one focused idea.
A working first version is a real, functioning version of the idea that demonstrates its main purpose and can be put to use. It is a starting point, not a finished product. It is not represented as fully polished, commercially launched, error-free, compliant with every legal or industry requirement, or built to support unlimited users.
Because scope is what makes a first version achievable in two weeks, the Company may recommend narrowing or adjusting a project when the original idea is larger than the available time, tools, or support allow.
Results Disclaimer
Results vary based on participation, effort, project scope, prior experience, the tools used, and the issues encountered while building. The Company does not guarantee project completion or any specific business, technical, financial, or revenue outcome.
Examples of the Company's own projects or results are illustrations only. They are not a promise or a prediction of what another Participant will achieve.
AI and Third-Party Tools
The Challenge uses artificial intelligence tools and third-party building, video, community, and payment platforms. These services are operated by independent companies with their own terms, privacy policies, pricing, availability, account requirements, and usage limits. Participants are responsible for reviewing and accepting the terms of any third-party service they use.
The Company does not control and is not responsible for third-party outages, pricing or feature changes, account restrictions, lost data, or security incidents.
AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and may resemble output generated for other people. Participants are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating anything they create before relying on it or making it available to others.
Participants should not enter confidential client information, sensitive personal information, health or financial account information, passwords, or any content they do not have permission to use into an AI or building platform.
Intellectual Property
All materials provided within The Builder Challenge are the property of Angie McPherson Photography, Inc., including curriculum, videos and recordings, presentations, Build Plan materials, templates, frameworks, worksheets, session structure, and coaching content.
Enrollment provides a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use these materials in the Participant's own business. Participants agree not to copy, sell, license, teach, publish, distribute, or reproduce Challenge materials, or create competing educational products from them, without prior written consent.
Participants retain ownership of the original ideas, content, branding, data, and projects they create or bring into the Challenge, and may use what they build commercially, subject to the terms of any third-party tools and to applicable law. Participation does not make an idea, name, feature, or project legally protectable, original, or available for exclusive use. Any trademark, copyright, licensing, or privacy review is the Participant's responsibility.
The Company will not publicly share a Participant's name, project, testimonial, or results for marketing purposes without separate permission.
Live Sessions and Recordings
Live sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled Participants. By joining a live session with a camera, microphone, screen share, or chat message, the Participant understands and agrees that their name, voice, image, screen, or comments may appear in the recording shared with the rest of the group.
Recordings are provided so Participants can review a session or catch one they could not attend live. The Company may edit a recording before releasing it, and in rare cases may withhold a session recording when a technical failure or a privacy concern makes releasing it inappropriate.
A Participant who prefers not to appear can keep their camera and microphone off and submit questions in writing.
Participants may not record, photograph, reproduce, or distribute live sessions or Challenge recordings.
Confidentiality and Community Conduct
Discussions, projects, business information, and client information shared within the Challenge community are confidential and may not be shared outside the group without permission.
Participants agree to treat each other respectfully, to ask before sharing another Participant's project or comments, and to avoid harassment, solicitation, spam, or disruptive conduct. The Company may remove a Participant from a session or the community for conduct it reasonably believes is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, or in violation of these Terms. Removal for a violation does not entitle the Participant to a refund.
While the Company requires confidentiality, it cannot guarantee that every Participant will comply. Please use your own judgment about what proprietary or personal information you share.
Educational Purpose
The Builder Challenge provides education, coaching, and general guidance. It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, privacy, security, accessibility, financial, or other professional advice, and the Company does not provide software development services, legal review, or security audits.
Participants should consult qualified professionals before using anything they build in situations involving sensitive data, regulated industries, financial transactions, health information, or employment decisions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Challenge, the use of Challenge materials or third-party tools, or the use of anything a Participant creates. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability arising from The Builder Challenge will not exceed the amount the Participant paid for enrollment.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to every Participant.
Communication and Support
Official communication is sent to the email address provided at enrollment and posted in the private Challenge community. Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information, keeping it current, checking their spam and promotions folders, and reviewing Challenge announcements.
Acceptance
By completing the purchase, the Participant confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, understand the schedule and the participation expected, understand that all sales are final, understand what a working first version is and is not, and are at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement.
